Japanese Baby Clothes
Simple Japanese style clothing for babies and children are not only cute, they are also kind to babies and are a great way to avoid tears and possible skin irritation.
Traditional Japanese style baby clothes are based on the kimono 'wrap' style. This prevents the parents from having to pull anything over the baby's head, which is a traumatic experience for babies - especially newborns up to about three months. New parents will tell you (including me!) of the difficulty they have supporting the baby's neck and then trying to pull a baby vest over the head. It's tough and it can be a tearful time for small babies which can become a stressful experience for new parents.
The wrap style used with Japanese baby clothes allow you to place the baby on top of the garment and simply wrap the baby up, therefore, eliminating the need to pull anything over the head. This simple way of dressing baby is an effective way of preventing tears as it allows you to keep eye contact with your baby throughout. I for one noticed a big difference at changing time.
